Dispersion modelling
PM_TEN provides advanced dispersion modelling services, using predictive mathematical models over different time scales for diagnostic studies and environmental impact assessments. Simulations include the dispersion of pollutants and odours in the atmosphere, as well as pollutant dispersion in marine environments, supporting scenario analysis and mitigation planning.

Simulation of atmospheric polluttant dispersion
These services allow the assessment of the spread and impact of atmospheric pollutants and odorous emissions, using advanced dispersion models to analyse emission scenarios. Main activities include:
- Predictive analyses for managing industrial emissions and supporting environmental impact mitigation measures;
- Assessment ofair quality impacts resulting from accidental events.
Simulation of marine polluttant dispersion
Evaluation of pollutant transport in water using marine dispersion models, including simulations of oil spill phenomena and the release of materials into the sea. Main services include:
- Simulation of marine dispersion scenarios to support environmental impact assessments and mitigation planning;
- Analysis of contaminant behaviour and transport to support climatological and environmental studies.
